You will be in the Radica’s Product Team that is responsible for developing the Radica e-marketing software platform and making sure all products are released to end customers in an orderly manner from development to production. 

Do you want to be part of our software development team?  As a VP of Software Development, you will use your vision of technology, software product management experience and your strong technical ability to lead the team to design and develop Radica’s software platform, and enhance existing products. You have to make sure Radica’s products are repeatable and scalable.

• Monitors different stages in the entire product development process, including product design and planning, development and implementation.
• Ensures projects are completed and documented properly according to product specifications, approved schedule, and corporate quality standards.
• Keeps aware of different projects’ status and makes recommendations if necessary.
• Keeps Senior Management informed of development progress and problems encountered.
• Keeps aware of new developments and trends in order to recommend computer operation expansion or replacements.
• Evaluates new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company products.
• Determines practicality of new software products and/or product enhancements.
• Works with other executives to plan and establish product goals and development strategies.
• Coordinate the information flow between departments
• Collaborates with various teams within the company to ensure the required features and product improvements are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features.
• Other duties that are within education and experience or the incumbent may be assigned for the betterment of the company.

• Strong technical background.  Experience in ASP Platform management, Web 2.0 environment is required.
• Proven experience in leading architecture design of high transaction web sites and web applications
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven team leadership and management skills.
• Proven record of building high performing teams.
• Proven experience in managing relationship of multiple vendors.

• Ability to forecast project resource and plan for the resource allocation.

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (An advanced degree is desirable.)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing Software Design and Development for an Internet based company or a company with a large internet presence
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in management
